Stories That Spark Confidence, Creativity & Self-Love

Because the right story doesn’t just entertain,

it reminds us who we are, what we carry, and why our voices matter.

Stories That Feel Like Home

About Me

Hey there—I'm Tiffani Staten. I tell stories that help people come home to themselves. Whether it's through a children's book, a podcast, a musical, or something still scribbled in the margins of my journal, everything I create is rooted in one simple truth: we are all worthy of being seen, loved, and understood—just as we are.

My first children's book, You're Going to Like Me, Grumble! Grumble!, is being transformed into a full-length musical debuting in 2027. (I still can’t believe I get to say that!) And this August, I’m launching The Ink Is Black, a podcast that celebrates books by Black authors and stories with Black protagonists because our stories deserve to shine in every genre, every shelf, and every heart.

I’ve also got a few more projects quietly in the works: a devotional for women learning to trust their voice again, and a tender story about courage and flight, but I’m keeping those tucked close for now. What I can say is this: I create to remind us all that confidence is a journey, healing is holy, and joy is our birthright.

If you’re navigating your own story, through grief, growth, reinvention, or rebirth, I hope something I share gives you the courage to keep going. We’re in this together.

"I don't just tell stories; I build mirrors, bridges, and movement."

I write because I know what it feels like to search for yourself in stories and come up empty—my words are love letters to everyone who's ever wondered if their voice matters, if their pain is valid, if their joy is allowed to take up space.
